This complaint is not entirely on AVIS. As a customer I am also at fault.

It is just unfortunate that Avis has a specific condition in their T's and C's that I overlooked stating that the credit card holder is automatically listed as the main driver of the hired car.

I actually made the booking using my father's credit card because I don't have one, My father will not be driving that car. It has now come to my attention that I will have to pay and extra R275 to drive the car as well as an additional R275 for my brother to drive the car. this just works out to more than what we have budgeted for.

As a customer I do have respect for the systems and Terms and Conditions that organisations have in place but in this case I do feel cheated and that this is a unfair condition that Avis has imposed on their customers.
