I sold my Chevrolet Aveo to webuyscars in January as I bought a new vehicle.
The car was registered on my wife's name. She has to renew her driver's licence, but she was informed that she needs to pay all outstanding fines against her name before this can be done.
The only fines outstanding against her name are for the car for March 2013 and August 2013. Seeing as the car was sold in January 2013, it is not her responsibility.
I phoned we buycars in March when we got the original notice, and they ensured me that this would be rectified, only for us to now realise that they have not.
This is unacceptable and needs to be rectified.
