Mercedes-benz South Africa
Gearbox and Clutch plate

In August my 2011 Mercedes was sent in for a major service to Shiraaz Auto in Lenasia. I reported the centre console broken. After a disagreement, the fixed the console. In September, while I was driving the gears on my car could not change. I called merc assist and my car was taken to Shiraaz Auto. I tole them that the problem was the gear and I was surprised that this was not diagnosed when the car had come for the major service. Have a disagreement, the 30% contribution was reduced to approximately 30%. I spoke to the sales person Yaseen as I wanted to trade the car, Yaseen addressed the probem with Mokesk from Services and was advised that the clutch was repaired and the car had a 2 year warranty. On 14 November 2013, after 4000ks I experienced the same problem. Shiraaz and MBSA refuse to acknowledge my initial compliant about the gear and clutch and is claiming a further 30%. Please assist in escalating the matter. Thank you. Regards Shivani Singh
