Hugely Inconvenienced and Dissappointed

I got a courtesy car for 6 days and returned it in the 5th day. Before I even went to fetch my car from repairs I went to the Avis offices and asked them if it will be ok for me to leave their vehicle at Deny's Edwardes, they said they will send a driver to pick-up the rental vehicle. I then went to Denys Edwardes but before I left the rental car keys I made a phone call again to the Avis Offices and I informed them that Deny's Edwardes are not opening on weekends, should I leave the car over or bring it back. The response was, it will be safer there & a note will be made, that I returned it on Friday and not Monday.

To my surprise, i got a call on Monday, asking when will I return the vehicle, I then reminded the lady that I spoke to her on Friday and she gave me a go-ahead to leave the car over at Denys Edrwades, then she remembered. I have been a victim of inconsistency and lack of professionalism in this case and Indeed I agree to the R400 fuel and R17.50 a day tyre waiver but have still not been refunded of the balance to the R750, instead was debited a R1018.00.

I have reported this to Client Service and am not happy with how this is being handled. SAD very SAD!
