I bought the GTline megane, and was picked on the 25th October. On the 27th, I played CDs on the car for a while (morning) on way to church. In the afternoon whilst playing CD, a funny sound came out of the radio compartment. Several CDs were checked and a message ' CD error' appeared on screen. The car was taken to the dealer at Fountains in Pretoria to be checked where the sales man tested the radio and took it inside the workshop for review then, I was told to bring it on the 4th November.
On the 4th, the car was taken in the morning and nothing was done except to be asked if kids were playing on the radio. I only got the car after 4h30pm
I was told by Ms Joleen at the workshop to bring the car on the 6th whereby someone from head office needs to see the CDs which were damaged and bring the car for confirmations.
1. Why would for the whole day the car not being attended to and only be informed when I was there that the head office rep will come to inspect?
2. This is a brand new car with only 10 days old, and why shouldn't it be repaired for the faulty radio apart stories that are coming and by one. What next stories will Renault SA reps come with? Fix the radio!
