I saw a Golf 6 advertised on the internet by the McCarthy Dealership in Pine Street, Durban and I contacted the sales person Quewan Ramasamy who assisted me. reason why i wanted this particular car was, it was advertised with a mainternance plan by VW to 100 000km. Quewan confirmed this and i even have this on the offer to purchase that I received from him stating this. The car was due for its first service so i took it to the VW in Rivonia only to fine that there was no maintenance plan on the VW system. After quering this I now am notified that its not a VW Maintenance Plan but a McCarthy plan and its limited to 90000kms. I have disputed this with the dealership and this mater still reamins unresolved as it appears that i am now forced into accepting this plan although it was not the plan agreed on when the car was sold to me. I feel that i should expose them and also for others that are planning to do business with them be aware of what business they are conducting. All I would like from them is to give me exactly what was sold to me and nothing more. is this too much to ask.
