I rented a car with Avis last year May for a month they reserved the rental deposit it was about R8000.00 on closing the rental the rental amount was taken from my available balance and the money was still a reserved after a few days the reserved amount mysteriously disappeared from my account when I called their head office the lady was not interested to listen to my story she told me if it was not on reserve then it's obvious it was released, there is no way I could miss that much amount.
Then were three more incidents after this: In July they took the rental from the reserved but did not release the deposit which was about R4000.00, Last month it was the same story as May and this month the money is still reserved they deducted another one from my available balance. They don't care to even investigate this, the staff of the branch have tried to help but get stuck when they call head office they even stopped them from calling their Nedbank to help retrieve my money. I am broke and have debits & school fees to pay my cheque balance is on negative. I WANT MY MONEY; I am so sick and tired of this. The money they owe me is over R20 000.
Hope this gets resolved ASAP
