I bought a brand new Peugeot 3008 in August 2011, only to discover six months later that this vehicle had a recall done on the engine part, causing problems and because of an infringement to my rights (the consumer law), Peugeot S.A. was obliged to replace the vehicle. I was satisfied, even though i realized that should it not have been for my persistence, I would have still paid a vehicle above R250, 000.00 which had problems that was never brought to my attention.
The replacement vehicle was issued to me in May 2012 and even before its first service, i found myself five times at their workshop for repairs.
On the 31/01/2013- I reported my vehicle for overheating and having lost engine oil and water level dropping.
My vehicle was returned 2 days later and they reported there was no problem found with over heating problem.
My vehicle has been back and forth in thier workshop with the same problem on the 4/02/2013, 08, 19, 27/03/2013 and 13/05/2013.
My concern is that they cannot find the problem for my vehicle losing water and they indicate that it is normal for a brand new vehicle to lose engine oil at that frequency. they refered the matter to France since.
