I purchased a Ford Everest from Inspect-a-car Centurion in Febuary 2013, After several attempts to obtain the new license disk I was informed that the Vin number on the car is incorrect and that Ford has to rectify the mistake. Since then the car went to Lazarus ford to inspect the VIN & Engine number. Ford found the VIN number corresponds to the engine number but not to the licence number/registration number. Meaning on black and white my car is not mine, it has the wrong/Fake number plates! Can you see a rookie cop in a road block, finding a car where the VIN number on the dashboard (next to the license disc) not matching the VIN number on the licence disc. Needles to say you can see where the road will lead to, for me! I am so frustrated and don't know who or how to go about finding a solution and nobody can give me answers.
