I purchased a Ford Figo in August 2011, since then I have read re recall on Ford Figo & Ikons. I called the Dealer I purchased from & was told "not to worry" as I had not received a letter from Ford SA - 21 November 2013 I received a letter - called for a reference number & then called the dealer closest to me - Consolidated Auto - to date no parts available??? I escalated the complaint to FORD SA & received a call saying that the complaint is in "process" as no parts available - gee that's why I escalated the complaint as this part I already knew!! Why - after KNOWING THE NUMBER OF FIGOS RECALLED THERE ARE NO PARTS AVAILABLE FOR THE REPAIRS? I am beyond words - extremely disappointed - would the service have been better if I had purchased a more "TOP OF THE RANGE" VEHICLE???
