I purchase a Touareg V10 on 18 October 2012. Upon purchase, the vehicle was not road worthied due to the fact that the lower control arm bushes needed to be replace & the engine had a major oil leak. I was informed that the parts needed, had to be ordered for Germany
After taking delivery on the vehicle, I found that the C/L was faulty, Causing the vehicle to be unable to lock & battery to run flat.
After continuous attempts to get hold of Sean (Salesman) I was met with only excuses, ie, mechanic not answering his phone.
When I call the dealership & ask to speak to Scott (owner) I am told that he is not available and that he does not deal with his customers directly, therefore he does not take ownership of the problems in his dealership. I took the car to VW on 27 December 12 for inspection & was advised that the defects on the vehicle amounted R94, 000.00 (1turbo;diff;bushes;oil leak;brakes;disc;doorlock&airsuspension) and VW stated that the vehicle is unsafe to drive.
I then took the vehicle back to Pharaoh Auto on 27 Dec 12 and Left the vehicle for repairs. UP TO DATE, A MONTH LATER, 28 JAN 13, NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE.
THEIR SERVICE IS PATHETIC AND WILL NO LONGER BE TOL
