I Bought a vehicle from Auto Elegance. The vehicle was advertised with a Full Service History. After I took the vehicle I could not find the service book. On my enquiries at the dealership I was told that the previous owner lost the book on which account I took the car to a Hyundai dealership to check if all the services were done. They indicated that there was no 90 000 service done on their system. I then went back to the dealership to tell them that I want to cancel the purchase because the services was not up to date. They told me not to cancell and that they will find out from the previous owner - they believe that if could have been done by another Service Provider. The next week they informed me that the previous owner did not take the car for the 90 000 service as she knew she was selling the vehicle.
I was informed after the 3 day cool off period. Why did they advertise and sold the vehicle to me as if it had a FSH if they knew this was not the case? Who is now responsible for the payment of the 90 000 service? I have already communicated with the dealership and they refuse to pay for the outstanding 90 000km service...
