I take my car (audi A3, 2010 model) for service to Audi Acardia and the last service was on 17/09/2013 for a 75000km. On Saturday my car broke down near Verde. it stopped selecting gears and was towed to Newcastle. Only to be told the clutch is gone and its my driving skills that damaged it. I have to pay R25000 to fix it. Now I'm still stuck in Newcastle. Now Audi tells me the knowns that its a wear and tear item not covered under maintenance plan. If it was my driving was it not picked up during services? A clutch (I believe) hardly fails over night if its bad driving.i fail to understand why it was not picked up and advised accordingly. I take my car for service, for advice, to be told nothing is wrong with it and drive long a long a distance and it breaks down and now it's my bad driving. How convinient? I'm really frustrated and stuck in Newcastle. And for R25k it just kills me.
