My car is an Audi Q5 2L Fsi 2011 model, it broke down, called Audi assist and car was towed to Audi Welkom within an hour. The following day I phoned Audi Welkom to find out what was wrong with my car, they said they have not checked it yet, they will call me when they have checked it. When they phoned, they told me that in order for them to be able to check the car they need to remove the gear box, so I must give them permission to remove it. I did not understand why they needed permission but I granted them because I also wanted to know what was wrong with my car. The lady I spoke to went on to say the car is still under warranty but if I caused the problem that the car has, I will have to pay to fix it. She phoned me later on to tell me that the clutch plate is damaged, I caused the damage and I must pay 36 thousand to fix it. I told her I do not have that money and I do not understand how I could have damaged the clutch on a new car. She said it is the way I drive the car. I said I have been a driver for 11years now, I have another old car at home that has never had this problem, how could I damage a clutch on a new car. I am frustrated.
