I bought a Discovery 3 Last year October second hand. On our way back from our December holiday, the car reported a low coolant level and lost power. I immediately pulled over and opened the bonnet. It was just smoke. When the mechanic came he immediately knew what was wrong and said this is about the fourth discovery for December with the same problem. The radiator housing to the engine became to hot and the clue keeping it together disappeared. My car has 104 000km on the clock, to me that is a warranty problem, because i got 8 more people in SA with the same problem. Land Rover gave me a quote of N$208000.00 for a new engine and came down to N$54000.00. After four months of negotiations i got my car back just to drive 300km and got a problem with the engine. it now has water in the oil. Now they tell me they first want to find the problem and then they will flush my engine. I paid for a new engine and not a flushed one. I am regretting the day i bought a Land Rover. Land Rover is the worst car in the world. I am paying for something that i don't have and are struggling with transport. Needless to say it was my only car. FUNNY @ SUPPLIER NAME = COMPANY WHO DOESN'T RESPOND.
