Where is my refund?

I was looking for a used car, saw an advert by Hyundai Springs for a Kia Sportage (which turned out to be scrap material). I was asked by Retha Nel to deposit R5 000 on the 6th of September as a holding fee for the car as I wanted to view it first before I make my decision to buy. I drove all the way from Fourways to Springs, only to find that the car was not as beautifully advertised. I told them I will not buy that car and Retha told me they will refund me the following Monday. We called, emailed and smsed Retha Nel to ask for the refund, and there hasn't been any communication, except once when she spoke (16th September) to my husband and told him that they will refund, an another where she asked for my ID number. I am of the opinion that something sinister is taking place at that dealership. If I get no feedback this week, I will certainly approach the National Consumer Commission as well as Carte Blanche because it doesn't make sense that they ask for money, yet they don't want to refund at all. People must be very weary of that dealership. This time they are dealing with the wrong consumer. This nonsense of cheating consumers will stop!
