I have been really patient with Dollar Thrifty, but now this is ridiculous. I rented a group R vehicle on 06/09/2013 and returned the vehicle on 07/09/2013. I was assured that my deposit will be refunded within 24-48 hours of returning the vehicle. It has been well over 8 days.
I went to my bank on 13/09/2013 and was told that Dollar Thrifty had not released the money as yet and theres nothing they can do until they receive the request to release the money, when I spoke to Dollar Thrifty they said they released the money on 10/09/2013. If that was the case it should have reflected in my account by now. So where is my deposit? If you cannot be honest with a customer and deliver on your promises, how do you expect to ensure business in the future?
