My car was towed to their workshop and I explained to them that I wanted a quotation for fixing the numerous faults and problems my car had. I left the car there and was promised my quote within 48hrs. 10 days later and after several calls from me, I get a non broken down quote of R18000 . I then called them and told them that it was too much and I was going to go and tow it to another place. The next morning I got another "quote" of work already done to the amount of R8000 . I went there to query the quote of work already done because firstly, I never authorised to any work to be done and secondly, you just don't get a quote after the work is done.
I met with them today (9 Sept) and we could not resolve it. They want me to pay R5000 before I can tow it away and I'm trying to be reasonable and pay only for the parts that they installed. I am now contemplating on the next step to take.
