At 08h10 I took my car into False Bay Motors, Hluhluwe due to a ceased back brake problem. Attie, owner, took my daughter and I to his Spares/Accessories Shop so he could try find spares. He introduced me to his wife, Martie, who couldn't even smile or greet me! Attie had to return to the workshop to get the car VIN number. Said he would be 5 minutes, then would take us to a hotel where we could get coffee. Whilst we waited, we had to sit outside, me on a chair, my daughter on the dirty concrete floor. 12h00 Martie told us Attie would collect us in 5 minutes and only then brought a second chair and offered us coffee! I asked if someone could take us 8kms to our lodge... look on Marties face told me it was inconvenient! Attie, eventually came 45mins later, re 12h45 and took us back to the lodge... the repair would only be delivered the next morning. Martie told us we had to find our own way back to collect the car!! Whilst I appreciate Attie was busy in the workshop, to leave 2 ladies sitting in those conditions for nearly 5 hours, is unacceptable! I always thought small towns went out of their way to assist, especially ladies in trouble... we were obviously just another customer!
