DONT CARE ATTITUDE FROM POSTNET FRANCHISOR

At the end of last week we realised that the local Postnet closed down. We have an account with them for more than five years for 5 different businesses. I phone the franchisor (Postnet head office) to find out what was the problem.

Eventually they put me through to David Liebenberg head of courier services. He confirmed that Postnet Bethal closed down more than a week ago and we can go and fetch our post at the sheriffs office. I ask him why wasn't the people informed about of the fact that have postboxes with them. He had a long story about they didn't had the information to let the customers know. I explained to him that this is very serious, we get regular post from SARS with payments that needs to be made and if not done there are penalties that needs to be paid.

I ask him to put me through to Chris Wheeler the MD of Postnet to discuss it with him that they have a responsibility to their clients and they need to inform us that Postnet Bethal closed down and that we must het a new postbox. Mr Liebenberg said that mr Wheeler is overseas and dont have roaming.

He said Dominic v d Horst the second in charge will phone me about the issue. Its a week later and, am still waiting
