I had the misfortune to end up nose first in the Olifants River near Calitzdorp on 28 December 2012. My vehicle is a Hyundia Terracan. I recovered my vehicle and contacted the nearest Hyundia dealer. They came and collected my vehicle and took it to the workshop. I requested that the vehicle must be repaired, but first submit a quote. In the mean time I had to return to the Free State.
I am frequently abroad and told the workshop manager to take his time with the repairs, as he had to order parts from Korea or thereabouts. To make a very long story short, 7 months later my Terracan is still in the Western Cape.
Three weeks ago I contacted the Customer Care Department and logged a complain. I had contact with their Service department, with some joy regarding the "computer box", after been informed by the workshop that the cannot find a computer box.
Is this the benchmark, standard of Hyundia South Africa?
Seven months and no joy?
