Poor planning causing inconvenience to customers

A claim to repair my car (damaged rear bumper) was approved and authorisation sent to Autobahn BMW on 13/05/13. The repair was scheduled for 15/07/13 - 2 months later! the car was taken in on 15 July, but 2 weeks later the repair had not been started. I took the car back on 25/7/13 and I am still waiting to hear whether or not the bumper has been delivered from Germany. This part shout have been ordered in May when the car was booked in!
I am thoroughly fed up and hugely disappointed with the poor planning and service delivery from this dealership. The person in charge of planning should be severely reprimanded. I have recommended to my broker, insurance company and assessor that they do not use this dealership.
