On collecting my car that was in for repair of hail damage I noticed that the rear bumper had not been refitted correctly, when complaining about this, my car was returned to the workshop so they could fix this. An hour later I was told that the bumper had never been removed for the repairs (in spite of this being part of the quote) and that the bracket for the bumper was broken from a previous repair (that I was unaware of), they would therefore not fix this even though they received my vehicle with this part perfectly intact.
Even when lodging a complaint telephonically and returning the car, I was once again told that they would not fix this and that I should take this further with my insurance company.
I would believe that when a vehicle is taken to a panel beater for repairs that it would be returned in a significantly better state then I had delivered it, with all the panels correctly refitted!
I have another vehicle for hail damage repairs that will not be going here, I would suggest that any one considering using Bredren Autobody find a reputable company to deal with instead.
