I am very disappointed with First Car Rental this time and I usually recommend it to all my friends however what hahappened to me the past days is day light. I made a booking with a non-embossed card on thursday in which I didn't think it would be a problem as I have made a booking before with the same card, however when I wwent to collect the car I was told that they couldn't release the car. When I checked my account I noticed that the money went through twice (R980 x 2). I enquired about this and the lady called Esna assisted me via email, and she informed me that I will get my refund of R980 R735 as I was charged a cancellation fee. Well I decided not to argue and I didn't have much choice because she closed the case without me having to respond. Yesterday I checked my account hoping to have my refunds back, to my suprise FCR deducted more money from my account (R980 x 2) again. Now I don't know how their system works but this is definately unacceptable because the whole weekend I had to rely on them refunding me instead they decide to take my last cent.. Can anyone please assist with this matter urgent because I need my money back in my account by the end of today.
