Currently, their is a TV add, with a RAM courier car chasing down a client to make a delivery, In reality, this is false advertising, I have in the past tried to order x 5 different orders, and everyone failed, I have to cancel them all and actually go into a Vodacom shop to get the product I wanted.
It seems I will need to do the same thing today.
RAM DO NOT CALL CUSTOMERS TO LET THEM KNOW THEY ARE ON THE WAY. THEY EXPECT YOU TO WAIT FOR THEM AT YOUR ARRANGED ADDRESS UNTIL THEY DECIDE TO DELIVERY.
I was just told by Rossa and Zahir Shak at RAM, that its not up to them to call the customer to inform them of delivery, I wonder what the percentage is of failed delivers is in this company, I would put money down to say its at least 20 to 30% failed deliveries.
And you might ask what is the benefit of a failed delivery, well they probably charge all the cellphone companies for a re-delivery or they charge them to deliver and charge them again to return a failed delivery.
