Me and My fianc? had approved finance with Absa, we than found a car (Kia picanto) from retoria motors and asked for quotation which I sent to the bank myself at 10am by 11:25, Absa sent my fianc? an SMS saying she is approved. I than sent the SMS via email to henneline (at ritoria) & ask her not sell the car and asked what is the way forward. At 11:42 She emailed me that she will need my fiance's personal details in a form (which we sent at 12:45), at the same I called Hannes (1st sales person who helped) and told him we are taking the car. At this time none of the told me about the need for deposit so secure the car. At 12:01 Absa sent proove of approval to henneline and asked for the invoice. I than asked my fianc? to ask Absa hen the contact will be signed, the said after the confirmed her expenses and income. The next morning at 8:30 I got SMS from henneline saying there is another client who applied for finance on the car and we should pay deposit to secure it. I asked for 2hrs to pay deposit which I did by 10am. At 13:00 we got a call frm henneline sayin someone paid deposit b4 us n took the car. As per hennelines manager the person took the car cause they paid dep 1st.
