I am not a person, I am what the system says i am

Hi,
I applied for a bond with ABSA (my bank since 2001), and 3 other banks.
Its quite basic, its a joint bond for myself and my wife for 1mil, and we have a 10% deposit.

All the banks came back approved for 90% bond with us giving the 10% deposit.

However for my own bank, my 'profile' does not allow for a 90% bond, because some system calculation.
when speaking to the consultant, i asked how they calculate my affordability because if 3 other banks can see i can afford the 90% bond, how can my own bank not?
She told me there is nothing she can do as it is a system calculation.

If that's the case, then i will take the bond at another bank and move to that bank where I seem to be more than what just the system says i am.

What ABSA seem to have forgotten is that since 2001, i payed up a student loan (with ABSA) and this would be my third bond (with ABSA).

Also, my offer to purchase ends tomorrow (22.02.2013), pull a rabbit out of a hat if you want me to stay.
