Big Boy Scooters
I BOUGHT A MOTORCYCLE INCORRECTLY LICENCED

1 Year ago, I purchased a DRT150 through the BB branch in Port Elizabeth and paid the R1000 some fee to have BB licence the bike. We took delivery and were given the registration papers. On renewal we went to go and pay, and were informed, that the engine numbers dont match and there is a block on the system and our disc cannot be issued and we need to take the bike to get a police clearance. We lodged a inquiry with BB head office after the PE branch ignored initial emails. In a nut shell, the physical bike I took delivery of, is not the bike of which I am the registered owner. That bike is, who knows where, and who knows if even any fines. I have to compliment Big Boy Head Office and Kobus who has taken the time to email me and keep me informed. His manner in dealing and trying to assist has to be complimented. 2 days ago, he advised me Mike from the PE branch would be handling this and would contact - still NOTHING. I am beyond angry and shocked that this has even happened. It puts a very bad taste in my mouth of the BB brand and the lack of attention to detail. I am at the point I want either a new bike or new paper work so I can sell this and see the back of this brand
