Service requests... not so fast...?!?

As an importer we have made use of DHL's services regularly in the past. Several weeks ago we have requested from them via email and telephonically SAD500 Customs Declaration form bearing the 7 digit bill of entry number as well as the transport document and invoice as proof of the goods having been cleared by the Department of Customs and Excise.

Despite repeated follow-up emails we are not getting any form of response and now face fines from the Exchange Control Authorities for not providing the documentation described above.

In this light we will most definitely not be making use of the services of DHL in future.
