So far so good. If it wasn't for the pending R 3.000 that were deducted from my credit card for the deposit. Usually hotels and rental car companies block (freeze) a certain amount for a deposit. When the customer returns the vehicle, the block gets released OR the rental fees are deducted from the blocked amount which would automatically release the excess.

At Acker thinks work a little different. They charged the amount on my cc therefore having to refund me when I returned the car. "It will take up to six weeks until the amount will be credited back to you. It's because of the international banks."Are you kidding me? Why didn't you tell me before, when I rented the car? Why are you not complaining at your financial services provider? This is entirely unacceptable.

Six weeks have passed now and the R 3.000 are still not credited back to my account. And Acker? Washing their hands. Will I ever rend with them again? No! Will I recommend them? Surely not! Customer service - fail!
