Bought car cash, have to wait til month end

I recently purchased, cash a vehicle from Kia motors Midrand, found a demo model with all the bells and whistles that I was looking for, again - paid cash on the Friday, sorted out the insurance already. but was told by the dealership, because of it being year end and the car not being out of its demo plan, which end 1st of July I can only take delivery on the 1st of July, this is very confusing to me, so now my car is just sitting on their floor and im frustrated because in cant get something I paid for, in full, not financed, paid in cash... I would like to know what is the reason for the delay, as the dealership isn't giving me any real answers.

very discusted, to the point I want to take my money back and go to a competitor...
