Buy vehicle cash, but Stannic was not paid

We bought an Mercedes ML 350 ZTK449GP, cash (all my savings) at Five Star Motors, but we wer'nt aware that the vehicle still had a outstanding amount at Stannic.
The vehicle was register ON MY NAME, I did have all the papers but, we saw an Attorney and
I was advice to give back the car for FIVE STAR MOTORS but FIVE STAR MOTORS refused to pay all my money back, they pay me only R260 00 back I've paid R320 000 we lost R60 000 in an month's time.
This is an BIG lost
