On 17 May 2013 I called to request settlement amount on my contract and was given an amount of R 418.73.
I made arrangements to ensure that the amount, with interest and admin costs was available in my current account to cover the debit order.
On 31 May I was notified by my bank that an amount of R 7, 000.00 was debited from my account. When I called the call centre I was advised that the initial amount of R 418.73 was, in fact, a credit balance and that the additional R 7, 000 odd should not have been deducted. As it was late on Friday I was told that the error would be corrected on Monday 3 June.
I was contacted on Monday and advised that the full amount would be credited back to my account within 3 working days.
I was then contacted on Wednesday 5 June and I requested that they send me confirmation on the credit balance and transfer of ownership. I was assured that they would be in touch.
On Monday 10 June I called to speak to their supervisor as the money had not been credited. I was advised that he was busy on a call and would contact me as soon as he was finished.
Up to now no call. Who do I have to speak to, to get this resolved.
