Failed to Cancel Credit card/still being billed

I had or should i say have a credit card with african bank. I have had it for about 1 year and decided that i am going to settle this. I called the call centre and then requested to get settlement quotes which i got and then i paid the settlement amount by Green & richards and gave the settlement reference number. this was about 1 year ago. I received a credit card after 3 amounts advising i have an amount due, but this amount has come due to the interest that has ran up. I called the call center and then I was advised I would have to pay the interest that has accumulated for the last 3 months. I asked for supervisor and then the agent dropped the line. I then called again and advised of what happended and then the other rep dropped the line again. I then spoke to brenda [Email Removed] via email and i emailed her proof of payment as well as the settlement letters. she sent a confirmation email advising it will be taken care of. 2 months later i get a call saying my credit card has been blocked, I advised rep i closed this account 2 months ago. he advised this will be taking care of. Another statement. I am fed up. Regards Unhappy customer.
