I am a regular customer with Budget (BCN: YB225F). When I picked up my last booking at O.R. Tambo on 22/5 at around 15h the young probably new employee was not sure about the validity of my Zimbabwean drivers licence as mine is still of the old plastic format and not the newer metal one. He went to see his supervisor and came back after a while saying that this licence cannot be accepted. After a while the lady who had made that ruling came herself and confirmed that they cannot take my licence. I asked her to come with me to the nearby police post to check the validity. It is only after she saw my international licence and realized that I'm an old customer that we could go ahead with the formalities. No apology though. It is the first time in many years that I encounter such unprofessional and unfriendly treatment at Budget.
