Peers Car Sales
Sold ineffective vehicle

About 2 1/2 months ago we bought a corsa classic 1.6i from this dealership.
Eddie the salesman who did the deal, promised that the car would be auto valeted and the damages on it repaired. A week later we returned it because some the work had not been done. They patched up the petrol flap, but did not change the hub cap, as was originally promised and the handbrake cover was not repaired.
We were assured by same person, that because it had a "full service history", it was 100% roadworthy.
On tues 4 June 2013, my son could not get up the slight incline to our driveway, because it would not move forward. I suspected the clutch. On phoning the next day he was told that the gaurantee was only for one month. There is no record of a clutch been replaced in the service history. 112000 km on clock. When I pointed this out to Ahmed (the owner), and that he could see it was well used before we had it, he refused to compensate the emergency repairs we had to do elsewhere, cause we could just get to the nearest reliable workshop, and we hadn t come to him. Eddie refused to help so how could we take a vehicle to them, that was barely mobile, with no assurance of help. We need compensation.
