Value Break And Clutch

I brought my car in to have something repaired at Value, Break and Clutch on Strand road in Bellville, Stikland, I don't know much about cars but they told me exactly what was wrong with the car and quoted me to fix it, I accepted the quote. After they began working, about 5 minutes into the job they realised they were mistaken and something else and more expensive was wrong, they gave me a new quote which I rejected. Then they told me that I must give them money (and quite a lot) to release my car, they said this was an assessment/rejection fee or something like that. I feel this was very unfair and unethical of them because if they had been honest and open from the beginning and told me that they didn't know what the problem was then I wouldn't have gone along with the overly priced inspection.
