Lynton is on a go-slow

For the past four weeks I have asked Lynton of Ford Aurinia in Silverton to order me an electric window winding mechanism but he failed to do so after making all sorts of promises. I understand that the workers are striking, but he promised me to get it on special order at a price (which I accepted to pay), but when I phoned him after his promise he then used the excuse of the strike again.

Or he would say, that he has all my details and will phone me back, and later on in the conversation he would ask me for my details again (So I assume he didn't have it in the first place). The least he could have done is to keep me up to date but I assume he is also on a strike or a go-slow.

After numerous telephone conversations and wasting petrol to drive there and fetch the part (which he promised me would be there), and after he gave me four different prices for the part I told him that I would rather try and find it somewhere else, he seemed relieved - now he doesn't have to do his job anymore!
