My cars' clutch broke in Feb 2013. I called Parklands AutoCare to pick the car up and put in a new clutch. They charged me R5000 for a new clutch kit, to skim the flywheel and fix the firewall. March 2013 the clutch gave problems again so I took it in and they worked on the car. The first plate they installed was bent so they have put in a thicker one.
The clutch started giving problems again during May and June 2013 and I decided to take the car to a different Mechanic to have a look at the problem I'm having. The mechanic told me that the clutch that was installed was secondhand and the flywheel was not skimmed. It sounds like they installed old parts into my car. They charged me R5000 for it... I'm very upset with the service they gave me and the parts they installed. The clutch should have been fixed the first time the car went in. I can not afford to pay another big amount to get it fixed properly.
