POOR CUSTOMER SERVICES

I booked my car in because the red engine light was on, i went with my husband in the morning to leave the car at Mercedes Benz Midrand. one service assistance by the name of Leeroy later called my husband informing him that he had to change the coil and some other stuff which all was to cost about 7 thousand rands, my husband asked him was that the reason why the light had gone on and how necessary was it to make such expensive changes, the guy Leeroy couldnt answer he actually stated that THEY WERE GOING TO TRY and see if by removing the so called parts the vehicle MIGHT work as normal, this upset my husband because the main reason why they put the vehicle on a computer is to ensure that they get a correct dignostics and not to assume because at the end of the day the CUSTOMER suffers by paying for unnecessary PARTS BECAUSE SOMEONE DOESNT KNOW HOW TO READ THE COMPUTER DIAGNOSTICS WELL!! My husband told him to then try and change the spark plugs and then to see if the red engine light would go off and then to call him if that doesnt work then will look at his option. the day passed without Merceded Benz calling him i then went to pick my car and when i got there i was told to sit
