BMW South Africa
PAID R 17 044.45 AND MY CAR IS STILL NOT SORTED

I took my car in to the Menlyn Auto (BMW dealer) 2 weeks ago for diagnostic report as it was giving me power performance problems. It was briefly checked by Corne and he advised the driver who took my car in that there are leaking pipes but he will have to have it checked under diagnose. I then received a call from him advising me that the quote for all repairs has come to R 18k and odd rands. I gave him the go ahead to get the car fixed and last week Tuesday he called me to advise that my car is ready for collection. I quickly took some time off and went to get my car. On arrival the final invoice was R17 044.45 of which I paid without a doubt knowing a good job was done. I then drove off the dealer and at my first stop when i turned the engine off, having to start it again it failed to give power, I then called him and he asked me to arrange for it to come back. I then took a risk and forced it to get to the dealer and on arrival he was baffled why it could have done so. ( I thought he's the expert, after all did this car not go into diagnostic process??? I still have not received a call and I HOPE they are not expecting me to pay for anything else after the initial job card...
