DISGRACEFUL QUOTE AND INCORRECT PROBLEM

I took my car to you for the last time last week. I went in to order and fit a air intake pipe, and for you to check why my fan was not working. I ordered my part, and brought my car in on the specified day.

I received the call to inform me that both my fans had packed in and needing replacing, you quoted me R9188.00, but when I started asking how it can be so much and how the fans stopped working you came back with a new price of R6828.00.

I decided to visit one of your accredited VW dealers, and was very pleasantly surprised to be quoted for the exact same job R4500.00.

This accredited dealer in Montague Gardens did the same diagnostic test that you did, and it turns out that the fans are indeed still working, but that there is no power. (failure between ECM and BCM)

Diagnostic test: R375 (VW R450.00)
Parts and service: R1575 (VW R9188.87)

How can you even justify not finding the correct problem? Even if I had agreed to your original quote for repairs/replacement, you still would not have known about the power issue which would have added to my already astonishing quote.
