I bought a secondhand i20 at the dealership two months ago. The sticky petrol cable was a problem from the beginning, but was due for service so I made they this note when I made the booking two weeks in advance. I also paid the extra amount to extend the service plan and still have 2 years warranty. The mechanic said they are just waiting for the petrol cable to come in. This was a month ago. Petrol cables cannot be this scarce, I'm sure I can drive to Midas and buy one myself.
I phoned the service department and said they don't deal with warranty claims a warranty officer would contact me. I have also been contacted by Hyundai customer care. They said they would followup. But nothing yet. Should I take the car to another dealership or a private mechanic instead?
Fed up with the car, cannot drive it properly! Wife refuses to drive it.
