I took out an extended warranty policy with Mccarthy as part of the sales package of my car from Toyota Mccarthy group in Midrand. I have tried contacting them on numerous occasions to retrieve my policy number and details as well as to enquire about information relating to the prospective claim.
All the numbers dialled (Durban branch for some reason) did not exist and the only number I could find for Johannesburg (Bidvest financial services) had the music in the background with absolutely no answer or feedback about my position in the queue. Transport is of utmost importance in South Africa and it is unacceptable to pay for a service relating to peace of mind with regard to transport and not receive the service...
