Kia Motors South Africa
Kia Sportage CRDi Registration VLZ761GP

4 weeks ago my vehicle switched off and refused to start. Having purchased this vehicle from Kia The Glen and since I have the vehicle serviced there, I had the vehicle towed to them. 2 days later I was informed that the fuel pump was faulty and had to be replaced. I was quoted a price, after discounts, of around R20000. The service consultant, Chantal, confirmed with me that this is the fault & the vehicle will be sorted out once the part has been replaced. I asked her to get the vehicle sorted out & I will pay for the repairs. A week later she called me to say that the fuel pump was replaced but the vehicle did not start. I told her the fault could not have been the fuel pump. Anyway, she promised that the vehicle will be sorted out. Three weeks later I received a call from Chantal informing me that the oil well is damaged and it will need replacing. The cost of the oil well is R13000 plu labour. I informed her that if the vehicle starts after the oil well is replaced I will pay for the oil well but not for the fuel pump. She said that I would have to pay. I informed KIaSA. On Friday Service Manager called me to say he will speak to Dealer Principal and call me. He did not call.
