2012 Kia Sportage bought in Aug '13. After raising this with Toyota Kilnary where I purchased the vehicle they shared that it is only a 122 kw compared to my previous vehicle. I raised this with Kia Alberton in October, they said they checked the vehicle and they cannot find a fault but re-set the valves. In Nov'13 I took the vehicle back to Kia and told them that the vehicle still lacks power. You go down hill with your foot flat on the petrol and there is no power. I shared with them that I am driving to Cape Town and need this problem sorted. They then replaced a fuel valve. The car drove better for 24 hours, I immediately called when the problem re-occurred before leaving JHB for Cape Town and again they said they can not find a fault. I called the customer service line to complain about the lack of service and that I have now for the 3rd time told them about the problem. The customer service line told me that a Cape Town branch will help me. 2 days after being in Cape Town, I was informed to take my car to Paarden Eiland, who claims they are not aware. I also shared that they vehicle has excessive fuel consumption 12-16l-100km of which Kia claims it should be 8.9-100
