November 2012 our Vito blew the turbo and was towed to SAC. It cost us R25, 335 to have this replaced. In December we were told that the engine now had to be repaired, another R25, 870 .We waited and after excuse after excuse and with us following up as we desperately needed this vehicle being a touring company bus we had to hire buses to do our tours. We had a very long tour booked for end of February 2013 and after promises that the bus would be ready, 3 days before the tour we contacted them again to find out what was happening to be told that it still had to go to have the computer system set!!! We had to hire another vehicle for R8000 to do the tour. Then told the diesel pump had to be replaced. My husband, qualified engineer, insisted fuel injectors be checked and them arguing that they had and were fine we duly had to buy a reconditioned pump for another R20, 000. The pump was fitted-guess what? The fuel injectors now had to be replaced and there was no way that they could be reconditioned, we had to buy new - another -R16, 000. We then took vehicle away and have just had the injectors fitted for R8000 to find it still will not start!! Total to date R79, 000-still not running!
