I have been trying to book my car in for a service for over 3 weeks. An advisor promised to ring me back after the first day. I rang them back 3 days later, and I was then told they have been very busy. I had to ring them numerous times, and left messages.
Eventually, I got hold of Doran Joffe, who really tried his best to accommodate me. He apologised for the delay in having my car serviced and arranged to have a loan car ready for me on 10 May by 6:30.By 6:40, I was running late, but the person who opened the door clearly wasn't expecting me, nor did he know whether they had a car with enough petrol in. I had to leave for work.
I left a message for Doran, and Stefan rang me later. I can understand inefficient, incompetent service, but Stefan really lacked communication skills. He was disrespectful and kept interrupting me. He suggested I drive back again into town from Melkbosstrand. He eventually asked if I " wanted to have the car serviced or not", which was quite ironic, as this was my objective from the start.
We had a heated discussion and he eventually apologised "on behalf of Lexus Cape Town".
My car is 1700km overdue and still not serviced; unacceptable.
