Terrible Customer Service

Last week whilst I was out of the country my wife attempted to book my vehicle into Lexus for its first service. She was told to book it into Toyota nearby our home and did so.

Upon my return to South Africa I followed up with Lexus as to why when I bought a Lexus I was referred to Toyota. I was told that this should not have happened and that should I have taken the Lexus to this particular Toyota which was not accredited to service Lexus's the maintenance and warranty would have been rendered invalid from that period onwards. Lexus also mentioned that they are fully booked for at least the next week but will squeeze me in thereafter (18th Feb).

Obviously Lexus is overwhelmed in terms of capacity so to push us to Toyota is taking a chance but to potentially render my vehicles maintenance and warranty invalid as a result is absolutely unforgivably
