I contacted Hannibal for information on and the supply of a roof rack for my Freelander. Initially the response to information was almost always the next day.
On 20/03/2013 I decided to order the roof rack. Hannibal said it would take about 3 days to built and 2 hours to fit. I accepted their quote and paid a 50% deposit - R3 605.00, and asked to confirm they've received the deposit. No reply. On 25/03 I enquired again - Mr Willig said he received the my bank's notification, but will check his bank account and confirm.
No reponse until 09/04/2013 when Mr Willig phoned me and agreed to cancel the order and refund my deposit. No response until 18/04. I phoned Hannibal and resubmitted my bank details for the refund. Also send Hannibal a fax with bank details. No reponse.
On 23/04/2013 I visited Hannibal's office and Mr Willig again offered to refund my deposit - before the end of the week.
On 28/04/2013 enquired again - no response.
In the meantime I've acquired a roof rack but offered to continue with my initial order and try to resell the roof rack to recoup at least some of my deposit.
Until today, 02/05/2013 - no response!
